Well, think about it this way....If you get red tails then it matches 2 things as opposed to 1

And another benefit is you don't get **** from the cops. Win/win is all i see

I do have to say it looks better from further away than it does with the upclose shots. Take the red off and give the rims another coat of whatever you painted them with and it will look much better.

Just curious... What method did you use to paint those rims?

Me and my friend did it a while ago. If I remember correctly we used grit paper to sand it down (220 i think) multiple times to get rid of the shine. light coats of primer, then several coats of paint, and low gloss clear coat finisher (we went for the matte finish, but it has a little shine to it haha). that was pretty much it i think in a nutshell.

I will preface by saying that the time attack look was OUT before people even started mounting their new wheels. just a over played, not as good looking as they think style. there is no need for you to put on a colored lip of any sort.

and with vinyl I don't see how you could possibly get it even/straight enough where it won't look horrible and make me want to throw babies at you.

Haha, oh dear, please don't throw babies at me!
Yeah, but from far away you can't really tell that's it whack!! lol

Oh, the matte black vinyl wrap I was talking about.
I meant for the car! Not the wheels.
Example:

Haha, but I think it only looks good on that car. Damn GT-R...
But I really wanna see it on a Z.

flat black can be cool on a car, but it's also easy to look stupid. you would need better offset rims, lowered for it to look right, imo.

Yeah, I'd go all out if I end up going that route. I'm thinking about it.
