Smile Took a shot, and rolled my fenders myself

I thought it turned out pretty well. Got about 10mm more of clearance so that eliminated all my rubbing in the back. However I did manage to crack the paint a little, but it is hidden so I am not too worried. I did use a heat gun but apparently did not heat it enough. This was the first time I ever rolled fenders. Critique if you may.

For those who have rolled fenders, got any pointers or good techniques? I do want to possibly start do some fender rolling on the outside and make a few dollars since I have all my own tools to do it. I know a lot of folks who need this done.

Make sure to put some touch up paint where you cracked the paint. You dont want it to start rusting, even if its out of sight. Rust is rust, and it will slowly creep under your paint and ruin a paint job in a year or two.

Huh? No its not...

The lip on the inside of the fender used to be at 90* towards the inside of the fender...now its rolled up at like 30* ]

OP good job. You might as well have been telling my experience from a couple weeks ago. Same Eastwood fender roller, same result. One little crack from the paint because I must have let it cool too much at the end of my roll. I grabbed a little touch up paint and fixed it already

Yea, I didn't do a full roll. So it can be a little harder to notice. My pictures don't really do any justice. Just rolled them enough to give me room for the tires I have on now. I did have someone to hold the heat gun for me and he heated the fender up pretty well. Guess next time I will need to make sure to keep heat applied after the roll as about 10 min later you could begin to see cracking. I did apply some touch up paint, though not the same shade of silver. I just don't want any corrosion.
