Here's my opinion:
I feel the Sessantas are very good tires for the street & money. They grip reasonably well, even inthe cold. I was actually surprised when I did NOT experience any white knuckle moment driving in 20 degree weather. However, this is on 275/35/18 fronts and 295/35/18 rears.
That said, these were disappointing on track. IN MY OPINION, these did no better than my OEM Pilot Sports on track even though the Sessantas were much wider than the Michelins. Perhaps I was expecting too much (and the calibration of my butt dyno is admittedly off) , but a couple of other posts seem to concur. WIll be experimenting with a more aggressive camber setting (currently within OEM specs IIRC).
Bottom line: generally, favorable opinion on the tires, especially in relation to cost/performance.

Not comparing to the PS2s. Rather, the Pilot Sports that came OEM on the 2004 6MT G35's. Actually, at the time, I was deciding between the PS2s and the Sessantas. The Sessantas prevailed due to price. I was surprised/disappointed when these did not perform to my expectations, given the substantial increase in width. My goal was/is to find an excellent dual purpose tire. It seems the Nitto NT-05 or Kumho XS would be better for me. But I do like the Sessantas for the street.

if it were my car, I would run stock size tires on stock wheels. I don't know why you want to ge with a bigger tire???
if you must go to a larger tire, I don't understand you repeatedly asking here vs doing some google searches and finding the largest tire that fits on an 8" wheel front and 8.5" wheel rear. Going with an overly wide tire will just make the sidewall bulge and most likely have a negative impact on handling
