I was just checking the prices on these tires, not bad.

I was thinking about the kuhmo XS as my next tire, but if these nittos get decent treadwear, I might try them instead.

I drove in the rain on Saturday but didn't have the chance to push it much. The car drove very well on the side streets and freeway with no issues.

Canadian run a set on the track this past weekend. 375HP with the 295/35 and had no traction issues , they wore really well too. I wish i could have drove his car to get a full opinion of my own.

We go to Nitto once a week, usually the tires get here on a Wed, if ordered by the same Monday.
Nice price, cheaper than discount tire by at least $20.

Hmm, thought I posted this already....

Saw some pics of the Nt-05s mounted and they don't look to run that wide.

These are NT-05 265s on a 10" wheel and it looks a bit stretched. Nothing bad, but I've run 265 Bridgestones on a 10" wheel with much better coverage.

The 295 has the same foot print as an R888 as we measured them side by side with a tape measure; both mounted. The R888 runs wider than a lot of tires, and it runs a full inch wider than a Vredestein.

I believe the vredesteins run narrow to begin with.

My 275 NT05's rubbed where no other 275 has in the past (Invo, 452, T1R, SPT)

Nitto gives actual widths on their site if anyone wants to know for sure a width.

Didn't those past tires have more rounded sidewalls compared to the NT-05s which should help with rubbing.

"Extreme" performance tires like the Nt-05s will have a more square edge which helps with handling and I believe turn-in. I currently run RE-11s which are in the same class and it's also a very square design. These tires are supposed to offer close to R-compound performance, and if you look at r-compounds they also have a very square design.

hopefully mine don't rub. i'm having 2 275/40-18's mounted on 18x9.5 wheels in an hour. The coilovers go on next week though so i can adjust if needed then. The guys at the shop were freaking out about the tires. i haven't seen them yet though.

ok, so i mounted my 275/40's on a set of Works CR Kais 18x9.5 while taking off some Falken 452's. they are a hair smaller in width than the Falken's with no chance of rub. My biggest surprise was how small they looked and how little tread they have. Guess i should have read the specs closer. I predict they will be gone in 7k miles, maybe 5k.
I'm expecting outstanding grip tho...we'll see this weekend

Can you list all the tires you've had and how these are against them please?
Currently have Potenza RE050A Pole Positions, and want to find an equal tire in performance.

Thanks for the review! I've been looking at these, even though I won't need tires for a while.

I have these as well and so far, I love them. They definitely are better than the NT555s and the NeoGens. I've had them all. I could get off the line then stomp it with NT555s and just roll smoke out from the fenderwells. These will spin slightly but they hook a lot quicker when you give them hell. So here's a +1 on the Invo being a good tire so far!

Smaller than Falkens ? I figured they would run wide like the Invo's, my invo's ran about an inch wider than my 452's.

I am reviewing the Nitto INVO tires, which were used on my daily driven twin turbo 04 G35 coupe.

Staff -

Why did you merge this post into this thread? This is a review for a completely different tire...

If you did not want a thread with a review for that tire, could you please move it to this thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...vo-review.html

That is a review I did of the Invo and this post would be much better suited there.

Thank you.
