Yes the tires in question are taller that stock, but both the front and rear tire are taller equally, the ratio stays the same.
I hear you but I have personal experience running a 255/35/20 and had VDC issues, that's why I'm asking. 255/35/20 is a little above the 3% threshold, the VDC software will supposedly compensate for.

Geez, I'm just asking him if he's had any problem too.

And i'm just letting you know that it all depends on the rear tire that is run with the front you mention.

Guys, I haven't had a single problem driving normal with the VDC on. It may kick in sooner than normal if I kick the rear a little but that's hard to do with these tires. And I understand what you guys are saying with the error. Yes the ratio is larger and the width that it's taking that from is much larger then stock. Hence, there is a much larger difference in rotational velocities between front and rear. I did the math a while back and found things to be in the 3% error. I'm not much of a mechanic but I do have a decent engineering background, the math is pretty simple but don't be upset if I don't want to start writing it all over again to settle a dispute. I probably should have gone 275 in the front but wanted to be a little conservative. Now that I know where things are I'll push it next time with some body mods.

There are threads that have been raving about the NITTO NT05 since about a month after they were released. Porche, BMW, Z06 drivers all alike back this tire. And, I do as well. Great grip tire. Running mine for awhile now and they are the bomb.

I didn't realize that people even did this to be honest.
Why would you drive with your VDC on? Just curious...
I think every Z and G owner I have ever meet drives with the VDC Off.

Actually I agree with you. Just lazy, not beeting it and usually don't shut it off from start up.

But honestly you guys have got to try a set. Granted I'm only stock and building from the ground up ect... The traction is crazy from a 1st gear launch.

I don't drive with my VDC on very often but I have. I installed the KP module to turn VDC off all the time. But, I have had issues with other tires when the front/back diameter is so far off it puts the car into limp mode. This is not a problem with the sizes I run 255/35 & 275/35.

TTRANK, I appreciate yoru review of this tire. I am curious now that you have worn out a set of NT-05s, if you still hold true to your original statement on page one that you would buy another set? Also, having run Invos and now the NT-05s, why not move up to a set of NT-01s?????
TIA,
