Suggested Tire Sizes
I'm going to be buying a set of Axis Super Hiros in the near future. 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. I was talking to one wheel shop and he said to run 15mm spacers on the back and like a 245/40 tire, don't remember what he said for the fronts..
I was always the kind of guy that tried to stuff as wide of a tire as possible on a rim, but I understand that's not the style now a days... What are the advantages of going with a stretched tire other than cosmetic?
I'm wondering what everybody would recommend for tire sizes on those rims that will look decent. The car is an 03 Track that will have about a 1" drop. It is daily driven, and our roads aren't the smoothest....

A conservative tire setup with your 19x8.5” and 19x9.5” wheels:
245/35-19” Front
275/35-19” Rear
An offset of 22 looks great (OEM is 30, not too bad, but 22 looks better). Buy wheels with the correct offset if you can since that avoids the additional expen$e and problems with spacers.
You won't be stretched much with these wheel widths and the above tires.
BTW... Stretched tires is an excellent path to curb rash and ruining expensive wheels.
