Thanks for the info. It's interesting that the weight difference between CE28 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 is 0.11 lbs, while the weight difference between TE37 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 is 0.88 lbs. Also interesting that the 19x9.5 CE28s are actually heavier than the 19x10.5 CE28's. I'll have to look at my set to try to understand why....I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of material around the lug area.

So the forged monoblock(CE/TE/RE) series are the really light ones while the other(GT series) seem to be about as heavy as other comparable brands it seems.

Thanks for the post.

The 370Z wheels are surprisingly lightweight.

That's actually one of the reasons I bought PIAA Super Rozza's instead of SF Challenges a couple years back. I thought the PIAA's looked better, had a bigger lip, and were just about the same weight as the Volks but at 2/3 of the price.

Maybe the difference is weight distribution though. The Volk SF and GT series have forged outers and cast spokes so maybe the weight is concentrated closer to the center and therefore the inertia is lower than that of a fully-cast wheel with similar weight and dimensions. If that was the case then it might actually take less power the spin the volks up to a give speed in a given period of time.
