Also interesting that the 19x9.5 CE28s are actually heavier than the 19x10.5 CE28's. I'll have to look at my set to try to understand why....I'm guessing it has to do with the amount of material around the lug area.
I think it has to do with the pads. A high pad will have more material than a low pad.

They're not. Only the Track 18's and GT 18/19's.

Source? How did you get these figures?

I always thought the 10.5 inch GTS were 24 lbs.

I weighed my GTS (10.5 on 275 tires) against my OEM 19" Rays wheels (8.5 on 245) and they were only 4 lbs heavier overall (iirc 48 lbs against 52 lbs).

And the Rays 19" from the G35 are supposed to be 19-21 lb wheels.

Let me guess, you were running toyo t1Rs.

The T1Rs are a bit lighter compared to other tires.

Yes, they are T1R's. Per Toyo's website, my 275/35/19 should weigh 28 lbs. And per tirerack, the stock RE050A's in my OEM 19's should weigh 30 lbs.

When I weighed both of them, my T1R's had about 85% tire thread against my RE050A's which had about 10% tire thread. This might leave the tire weights around the same. And given that the rear OEM 19" Rays for the G35 Coupe weigh 21 lbs and that the differences in weight were only 4 lbs, I would think that the rear GTS were closer to 25 lbs rather than almost 28 lbs.

27.67 lbs for the 10.5 GTS is the heaviest I've ever seen anyone claim. I guess I will just have to weigh the rim itself once I have the chance.
