Default Speed Sensor issue

I am new to the forum so I apologize if this issue has been addressed before. I have a 2005 350Z with 22,000 miles. I recently put new tires on and since that time I will occassionally have the traction control engage which takes control of my trottle and slows me down. I can override this by pushing the TCS button. It only seems to do this in city traffic. 45mph area. Highway driving seems fine. Since this only started when I put new tires on could it be associated. Maybe the tire pressure sensors or something. Should there have been some sort of reset when the new tires were installed. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

BTW - tire pressure has no effect on TCS/VDC/ABS. The wheels speeds sensors are totally different from the tire pressure sensors.
