offset is very important...for handling and appeal..if you want to look like your riding a covered wagon go right ahead and dont get spacers..The flusher you are with the fender wall the more aggressive the car gets...You might be the only person that doesnt mind rims that are tucked that much
In this situation its ok to follow the hurd and be a conformist.
As for the rims, their not really my style but they should look good if you have an SS or PPW Z.

Depending on what year Z you have, but if im not mistaken, the stock wheels offset are +30 and still need spacers in my opinion to make them look flush. You are going with a +35 and +40. You do the math.. I dont think you will be happy with the way this set up will look with those offsets. Good luck though. To each his own.

I dont think he'll be going to the track.
I wouldnt put Axis in the same catagory as Rota.
I would like to read this article, though, mostly to see how controlled the variables were. Regardless, i love Axis wheels, but if i took my car to track events i would have a switch out wheel such as rays or G lights or RPF01's.
I dont believe Axis markets their wheels so much to track as to street, so in essence superfail on the authors of this article. I know they do market drift somewhat, but this is not a TA style race so again, superfail.
Why didnt they use the axis circuit? that is the wheel they geared towards racing and hence the fact its manufactured by Rays. The halo has no sign of being marketed towards track, but instead for street style. So if they pitted against Volks, G lights, BBS, OZ....no wonder it lost in a TA.
What exactly can be said of mentioning such a worthless article in this thread?
