Bump
Finally got my Bilsteins on ...
Fronts are 255/35/18 w. +5 offset (spacer)
Rears are 285/35/18 w. +3 offset (spacer)

Will be dropping the rear more as soon as i find a shorter linear spring that will work w/ the bilstein set up...hope I make the cut! I know 255 f's aren't as aggressive as some, but i love 'em!

Looks good. Larger spacers up front would compliment the car.

well if thats the case, i would suggest saving up and try to find a pair of matching fronts with a lower offset.

what size are the front wheels?

the fronts are 18x9 +20 which is the lowest offset that comes in. Unless I go 18x10 +18 in the front

What do you consider the "proper" size tire?

On a 9.5" wide rim at least a 255 and on a 10.5" wide rim at least a 285.

It's refreshing to hear someone that agrees with me. This tire-stretch nonsense is for the birds. I've been rocking 255-35-19 rubber on my front +12 9.5 TEs and 285-35-19 on my 10.5" rear. F tire stretch.

You must be from the tri-state area. I haven't heard someone say "for the birds" in a minute, lol.

No, but seriously we are on the same page.
