One again, a 255 or smaller tire is not wide , it is average. If you rock average size tires, your car does not belong here

What about wheel specs? Some of the wheels posted of late have been pretty soft.

Just so there's no confusion:

Volk Racing GT-30 Phantom Edition Wheels
19x9.5 +17
19x10.5 +10

BF Goodrich KDW2 Tires

i think a 255 on a 8.5 wide wheel would fit the category.

imo a 30 sidewall isn't a 'fat' tire.

Weather got better in NY so I finally got a chance to mount the wheels.
Front: 18 x 9.5 +22 - 265/35/18
Rear: 18 x 10.5 + 22 - 305/30/18
BC Coilovers with swift spring 10k / 8k rates
SPC rear camber arms

I decided not to hack my subframe and not do the toe bolts. Alignment still went back to spec.
Front Camber L & R -1.9
Front Toe L & R 0.0
Rear Camber L & R -2.6 Had to run this much to clear fenders even though they are rolled
Rear Toe L .05 R .06

All these pics are before alignment when wheels had around -4 camber on both sides and messed up toe as well lol.

Thread title should read "Fat Tires Only" thread, not so much aggressive wheels anymore.

+1 I am with you!! No need to be so critical on this.

275 on a 10 is stretched... so is that stretched tire thread?? Not really aggressive if you stretch

I don't think there is a : "Offical average wheel and tire setup"

For the vent area have you thought about a clear 3m film to protect from rock chips ?

I am wrapping the entire car. I have thought about that area. After the last autox the rocks have found a home behind the wrap that came loose. We will ave to do something different.

Very true. An if it gets damaged we can just rewrap.

I know that size varies from brand to brand.

Like a Toyo R888 is wider than a Federal 595RS
So if i want 315 on my 10.5 inch rim? Do you have any tire-recomendation?

Or just a just put on any 305 and be happy with it?

255/35/19 on the front, 285/35/19 on the rear. Meaty enough? Future plans for 305's on the rear when these 285's are shot
