I really like the 20"s in the back. I barely see anybody do it. The wheel wells are so big on the Z it looks great. But in the front I would put 18"s or 19"s. Just my opinion seriously not trying to hate.

Officially rejoining the fat tires club today, I was running 275's all around but I didn't feel like that was truly fat tires. Now with my new wheel setup I am running 275's up front and 305's in the rear with hopes of making a 315 fit in the future.

Wil it fit?

19x10.5 +10

BF Goodrich KDW2 Tires

J your setup looks amazing! Im looking for the same thing on my 350, would that size tire fit about the same on an 18 inch wheel?

Looks good and 265 is not that common yet, it's still verry wide for a front tire and well worthy of being here

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

255/35/19
285/35/19

Had trouble finding a shop that would sell me the 305/30/19 I wanted for the rear. So when these wear out I think I will go 275/35 up front and 305/30 in the rear. I just won't tell them what kind of car they are going on

Going to do a slight drop also and possibly 10mm spacers all around.

Lol i was in same boat when tire shopping. Tell them the car they want to talk you out of it. So i didnt tell them and they assumed it was a vette or something. Love those wheels. Since making the switch to 18s, 19s look huge to me now. Anyway. Very nice setup

Its not an issue. The big chain tire shops want to sell you oem size tires. When you deviate the get worried for liability issues as most folks dont have a clue abd when you deviate they want to make sure you know what your doing.

I understand the liability reasons but I almost feel like they should encourage it, as most of us in this thread have gone to tires that have tread width of 275+ which are much more expensive than oem sizes.
They should feel concerned about liability when people come in looking for a 225/xx/19 tire for their 350z...
