Its a process, you gotta do a little trial and error.
step 1: figure out the smallest spacer you can run
step 2: test fit the wheel, check the clearances to get an idea of how bad its poking.
Then if you already have upper camber arms: step 3: adjust your camber (or get an alignment and get them to)

If you don't have upper camber arms, I would switch to a smaller tire, maybe a lower profile or maybe a 245 or a 235. (This option would probably be cheaper than buying upper A-arms)

If it still rubs (or if you prefer to just skip to this step): Buy upper camber arms and camber the front in some.

I ran 19x9 -5 offset in the front of my Z: I tried 245s but they were rubbing too bad, I dropped down to 225s and I cambered in the front a little... I then wished I had put 235s on the front. They would have been perfect in my situation. I can't recall how much camber I added, but it wasn't much. I was running like 2* or so

Not the most aggressive setup, but flush none the less.
18x9.5 +20 and 18x10 +15
R888 275/35 18 and 275/40 18

Running -2.8 camber in front and -1.8 in the rear, and still rubs a little in hard corners.

More offset in the front would help that for tracking purposes. There's no shame in having a track set-up that isn't flush with big tires.

Yeah, it would be better with a little more offset, but for some reason, with the setup i've got now i can barely squeeze my pinky between the tire and the coilover, so i'll just play it safe.

Bunch of really nice set-ups on here. Great thread. Makes me want a different offset so I could fit a bigger rear tire. Anyway, I'm running 255/35/19 on 19x9.5, +12 up front and 285/35/19 on 19x10.5, +12 rear.

Not sure if these are fat enough for this thread, but I went from 255/275 Dunlop Star Specs to these

Advan Neova AD08 on Enkei RPF1s
front 265/35/18 on 18 X 9.5 +15
rear 295/30/18 on 18 X 10.5 +15

my new Autox set up....

Nice setup Kuhan!
Mine is similar but with more of a track focus. Not finished yet but here is a peek.
Thats a 18x10 with a 305/30/18 V710 up front. The V710s run a tad wider than many 305's. Rear setup will be finished shortly.

I run an 18x10 front/rear with a 285/30/18 V710. A 295 may fit, but I'm not confident a 305 will. What is your 18x10 offset?

18x10 +35 with a 5mm spacer. I am going to try a 10mm spacer because I may be rubbing slightly on the spindle inside under cornering. Its VERY close inside.
3.0 degrees of camber up front as well.
My car is not dropped that much to preserve suspension travel but I have not noticed any contact with the fender. The extra 5mm looks like it will be OK with my camber. Will post full pics and update settings when I finish up the rear and get some events on these tires.

Also, based on mock up testing, a 305/30/18 on a 18x10 +35 with 2.7 degrees of camber in the rear will clear with just a small fender roll. It may even just barely clear without a roll.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know a 305 will fit on the rear without a roll, but my fronts seem very close as it is. I'm on an 18x10 +38 all around, and currently run 10mm spacers in the front and 15mm spacers in the rear with the 285s (rear spacers not necessary, but at least 5 if not all 10mm in the front are necessary). I'm pretty sure the square 295s can work, but 305s in the front? Wow. I followed this thread for awhile, as he was running 295 front and 315 rear: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...r-rolling.html
