gah. Im running 18x10 +20 offsets in front and rear. Currently on 245 F and 295 rear. i was gonna upgrade the tires to 265 F and 315R. HOWEVER after seeing how stupid this looks on stock suspension i may have to wait until my coils arrive

^^^those tire sizes are better than the no grip-stretched-hella-ridiculous-guys. More tires are better than no tires, IMHO.

They are going on my friend's turbo 350. function>form
Its neither a show car nor a garage queen so we could care less about how they look. As long as they grip, we are good

oversized tires are also a lot heavier, i ran 305/30 on my 10.5 and that slowed my car down. And if you need that much grip your Z better be F/I.

not hatin, i'll be running wider tires soon as well

Anyway, the tires will serve a purpose so we are indifferent about looks

^aggreed... i went down to a 255 from a 275 and didnt loose any grip as a matter of fact most of the guys at the scca events dont run bigger than 275 and post impressive numbers. i've always felt that if you are having trouble getting traction perhaps suspension or driver technique are being over looked

Eh to each his own. My feelings are not hurt over a different opinion. I think those 315s are just right, but I may try a different tire for ***** and giggles I did have a chance to try a 285 but did not hook up as well as the 315s

At least you bought a lightweight wheel to offset the weight of the tire so everything evens out in the end LOL

We are just trying to be helpful, we're all enthusiasts here so no offense should be taken unless someone is just being a hater

No offense taken. I've always been a fan of wide tires as opposed to the stretched out look. I may have overdone myself with 315s lol
