Default Advice needed

Have an 04 Touring garage queen. It's time for tires, so I've decided to go with new wheel and tires. I need some help from the experts. Can someone give me a recomendation on wheel and tire sizes without rolloing the fenders. I was leaning towards 245/35 and 275/35. Can I go larger? What offset will I need? Can I do it without spacers? Thanks in advance.

Sadly (or fortunately?) there are endless answers to your question. Yes, you can go larger. For example, you could go 9 or 9.5" front and 9.5-10.5" rear with an offset in the low to mid 20s and 255/285 tires without issue. I have a few sets of wheels for sale in 18s, all are black (all black or black with polished lip). PM me if you'd like to discuss further about those.

I rolled my rear fenders but i bought the tool and took the time to do it right myself:

Front 265/35 rear 295/35 all four wheels: 18x9.5 e20 with 5mm spacer

Otherwise, I think the 265/295 set will work ok depending on if the tire runs wide and how the shoulders are designed. It's the 295 rear I'm worried about, as I have never seen a really good fender roll so I have avoided them like anthrax on tampax.
Thanks for your input Scott300. I'm not going for so much a statement. I just want to be able to thottle through a hard turn at 60 and be like, "DAMN I'm on rails!" ......and I like the look of a fat rear end! BTW I'm looking at KDW2's. That seems to be a good sidewall design that tapers in toward the tread patch. Now whether or not that tire runs large or small....I don't know.

Michla22, thank you for posting! This tells me A LOT by simply seeing your pics. (I'm assuming those are Rota Torques)

Thereforrrrrrrrreee, If you running a 9.5 +20 square. Then you've got a 5mm spacer bringing you to +15 square...

My 18x10 +15 should only stick out 6.4mm more than yours on the outside/inside according to my Tire Stretch Calculator....assuming pad thickness of the two different wheels are the same? Either way thats basically 1/4". I'm liking the 265/35 - 295/35. THREE questions for you....

Does that set up mess with VDC? And, did you roll AND pull the rear, or just a full rolling? WHAT ARE U DROPPED ON IF ANY?

Yes Rotas (for now). I left the fronts alone - the rear i did pull ever so slightly - nothing too big or noticeable and mainly because i coincidently did it on one side when i first started.

My car was an enthusiast model and only came with tcs no vdc and i usually keep it off so no issues there. And i'm lowered just shy of an inch on teins. maybe like 19-20 mm.

I'm not sure I understand the function of this wheel and tire set-up. Could you elaborate? I ask because you didn't need an 11" front wheel for a 265 tire, nor a 12.5" wheel for the 315 and it looks like you fubar'd you panels trying to make them fit. Going for the stretched / poke look while trying to keep a big foot print?

BTW, where is the torque wrench?

Those rear quarters look terrible. Probably a couple grand or more just to fix that.

No real reason just a mix of aggressive flush setup and fat tire setup. Fenders are stock other than a roll in the rear with absolutely no pull. What your seeing in front of the rear fender is where a random car back into/side swiped it.

That makes me feel a little better, I thought you did that fitting the wheels.

If someone posts up a picture of a 255 hoosier A6 on a 12" wheel or the like I demand a ban hammer be administered.

^What is the offset? Scott runs a 10.5 with a 305 on front.
