Hoping for some insight:

I'm getting new tires for the rear on saturday. I was wondering what tire size I should go with.

Wheels are: Rear 18x10 +22 2.5 degree camber.

I'm thinknig 285/35/18 but i'm not sure if i should push it to 295/35/18.

i would think so as this is my 3rd set of 285's on the Z. and as long as you purchase a good tire i dont think you will have problems with traction. N/A.

here's a different angle of my setup. theres a different pic a couple pages back.

thanks for the help. yea i think i'm set on going with 285 this saturday. i'm curious what fronts are you running or prefer to run. on the front i have 18x9 +22. i'm going to be running 255/40/18 until i can figure what size to go with there too. not sure if i wanna go 255/35/18 or 265/35/18.

+1 on 285's being enough. If you want biggest for your buck then hey why not get 295.

well right now i have 275/40/18. and you guys are correct. honestly the chances of tracking is like 10 percent. it really depends if the friends start going again. haven't been since high school. and even then it was only auto crossing. no road racing. i do really like the look of fat tires. i was just wondering if a 295 would look weird on a 10inch rim. but i think i'm set on going with a 285.

285 is plenty of tire N/A. But I think we are all in this tread for looks not tire traction advise?? Could be wrong?

nismonian : I have a 295/35/18 on a 9.5. What size rim do you have up front?

Chris
On order the bc coils. I have a 20mm spacer. I am going to try a 18 x 9.5 +0 with a 295? we shall see. Fender mods here I come. Might contact a loacl pro to do som magic.

DO IT!! lol, those wheels are sick. what offset? cause i looked at them and they didnt really offer aggressive offsets. if they offered a 18x10.5 +15 i woulda been all over it.

they are +30 but upfront I need close to that to fit that big of tire. But either way I will be running spacers to sit flush. Once they are on i will measure for sizes.
