Hi everyone.

2008 stock 350Z

I was planning on installing some 25mm spacers on all 4 stock wheels, and also lowering the car a tad with the Eibach Pro-kit.

Can you guys advise if this set up will require me to roll the fenders? Also, I was wondering what you guys think of that setup.

I searched and found plenty of 350Zs lowered with other springs as well as the sportlines, but didn't find the exact setup that I'm asking about. Your feedback and patience will be greatly appreciated.

 

kinda depends on tire size but the rears you probably will, fronts are good

 

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the stock wheels and tires. I found info on another thread, but it doesn't say if they rolled the fenders. I was hoping to not have to do it.

 

What are your stock wheel sizes and offsets? Add 25mm to the offset from there and compare to what others are using.

I don't know what the factory offsets are, but I could tell you that the tires are 245/45/18 for the rear, and 225/45/18 for the front.

While searching, I've read conflicting information where some say that the fenders won't need rolling on a minor drop with the 25mm.

I just wanted to see if someone actually had that setup, who could advise me for certain.

it should be fine without a roll, but will be close. Every car is slightly different, and depends on the camber settings whether it will rub or not

 

I install a 25mm spacer on the rear when I use the stock 06' wheels with 245/45/18 tires. I've read others using a 25mm front spacer. I'm confident a 15mm would work in the front from my dabblings. I don't know for sure if the 25mm front spacer will work without issue on all cars.

 

I ran a setup similar to this and you shouldn't rub. It will be VERY tight tho

Maybe I'll be safer using a 20mm for the front, and a 25mm for the rear. I've seen someone use the 25mm spacers with tanabe springs. I'm not 100% sure if they rolled their fenders or not though. I'll try to send them a message directly.

I have an 08 ZR running 15/20 with Cobb springs and is an easy fit . . .
I dont think that 25's would be an issue

 

So why not buy a pair of 25mm spacers for the rear, but try them on the front? If they work without issue, get another set of 25mm spacers. If they don't, then go with a smaller size.

30mm in the rear 25 mm up front works fine. If your running 0 to .5" drop. I wouldnt suggest anything bigger then a 255 in the rear if you go 30mm. Speaking from personal experience. I have 275s in the rear with 1.5" drop and 25mm spacers, with the rear fenders rolled half way to flush with the inner wall. I dont get any rubbing. As for the front I have 245s and about a 1.7" drop with no spacers. I get rubbing all the time with the front even with the front fenders being rolled all the way to the wall. It sometimes catches that little bolt in the wheel well where you put a bra on. Oh and I have -2.5 camber all around.

 

25mm spacers rear/20mm front with ichibaV2. U can go 25mm all around which imo looks better. If you stay with oem tire size you'll be fine. I made the mistake of going with 255 tires out back and i rubbed pretty bad lol. I was lowered on buddyclub coilovers and dropped about ~1.5" all around.
