Default yet another offsets question..

so I am being very picky about the look and price of wheels that i am getting ready to buy. Right now I am looking at 19x8.5/9.5 with 35 offset all the way around. I know that the offsets are higher than stock and that lower offsets in the low 20s are ideal. But considering the added width of the of the wheels, would these sit much different than stock without a spacer?

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Honestly getting a higher offset wheel is a terrible idea. If your going to spend the money on wheels, do it right the first time. Id stay in the low twentys unless your running an 10in+ wheel. Not only will it look terrible but you will lose the benifits of getting a custom wheel. Theres also a possibility that the wheel wont clear your brakes. I once bought a used set of volks with +35 all around and it honestly ruined the look of the wheel. Im speaking from experience... i regreted the purchase.

Also my wheels were 8.5 9.5 so its the same senerio
