The great tire poll
I have been running on my Continental Extremecontact for over 2 years now. Great tires with lots of grips and tread life. It's a high-performance all season tires.....245 up front and 275 in the back....great in summer, rain, snow, ice. Yes!! I said snow and ice for 245f/275r tires!! I lives in Overland Park and commute to KU everyday so that about 60 miles of highway driving at 70 mph round trip from home to school....and up some pretty steep hills around the campus.
This tire works wonder summer and winter, let me tell you!

BFGoodrich KDW2's
A little noisy, but they grip killer and look aggressive.
BTW, nice poll, we should have more of these for the other sub-forums as well. I.e exhaust, suspension, wheels, brakes, etc..

wrong
The stock potenza's are quieter than most. Too noisy are the tires my cousin has on his G coupe. He has some kind of goodyear tires, and when I say noisy, i mean ANNOYINGLY LOUD CONSTANT HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
They are so annoying I can't stand riding in his car. I have ridden in many sports cars and his is terrible. My brother has Kumho SPT's and they are perfect tires. Not loud and have sufficient traction, and at a low price. He currently has close to 40,000 miles on his kumho's.
But I bought a new set of Bridgestone RE-01R's for $499 so I can't complain. I'll let you guys know how they compare to my stock potenza's.

Hmm, a lot of members are running Nitto, more so than Toyo. That's a bit surprising. Also, a few members are running off-brand tires or those Frankenstein or Lichtenstein or Count Chocula or whatever those tires are that everyone thinks so highly of.
Mods, is there any way to sticky this poll? It may help the tire vendors on this site or anyone who has some curiosity.

I'm running Kumho's 265 rears. Great consistency sideways, work great in rain and launch off starting line improved greatly, Was running Nitto 555's and hated the inconsistency from cold to hot. Just my opinion and driving style maybe but I bet Kumho's go back on mine and they're cheap too!
I've had Goodyear Eagle F1's front and back since the beginning of last summer and will expect to buy new rears (275/19/35) by the end of this year. Great tire, sticky through turns when you get them heated up. I will go with a cheaper pair of tire next but definitely feel like I got my money's worth after burning all these other cars on back roads!
