I will go with a cheaper pair of tire next but definitely feel like I got my money's worth after burning all these other cars on back roads!
I had them, and loved them. They were good in the dry, great in the rain, smooth and relatively quiet (depending on pavement). The only problem is my rears were just about wore out after 1 summer. Also the cost is pretty high.

To add to this can we get what size you're all running also? Looking to replace my old RE040's with possibly RE760's if the sizes work, or the RE-11's.

This pole is full of fail.

How about specific tires, not just tire brands. For example, I'd rather run walmart tires than Nitto 555s, but Nitto Invo's are great.

How about a pole with the most popular tires for our cars, mabye even by price range:

Budget:
Kumho SPT
Hankook Ventus
General Exclaim

Mid-Grade:
Nitto Invo
Nitto Neo Gen
Toyo T1R
BFG KDW2
Vredestein Ultrac Sessenta

Ultra Baller:
Advan Sport
Pilot Sport 2
Bridgestone RE-11's

What do you think of the Vredesteins or maybe the Cooper Zeon 2XS, and consider some of us don't live in weather hell?

Just had the Nitto Neo Gens A/S put on the car. 245/40-18 front and 275/40-18 rear. The car had Toyo proxys on it when I bought it and they were about done.
Anyway, the Toyos were a summer only tire. What good is a summer only tire if you live in a climate that drops below freezing 6 months of the year?
I don't plan to ride in the snow or sleet, but I was told you should not even use a summer tire when the temps dip down to freezing. What's up with that?

I have the original 2005' 17" rims.
I loved the original Bridgstone RE040 F- 225/50/R17
R- 235/50/R17
They were great in the rain and had a very controllable drift. I got almost 19,000 mile out of them.
I have also ran the Michelin Pilot Primacy and F- 235/ 45/R17
R- 245/45/R17. Nothing special about them.
I am going to the Bridgstone RE960's next week and will let you know when I get them broke in and it starts raining in California.
I am going to

I'll be getting the BF Goodrich KDW2's for Spring-Summer-Fall 2010. So far I've read very good things about them.
