Default 1/10 of a degree off camber

Had my alignment checked after the fiance scraped a curb (again). She didnt knock the front out suprisingly, but les schwab called me while it was in the shop to tell me the rear right was one tenth of a degree off camber. He couldnt tell me if I should pay 81 dollars to have it repaired. He said he would, but thats because "he doesnt have to pay for it". He couldnt tell me if that could create abnormal tire wear. So I asked a buddy who used to work at a tire shop, he said I should. Any input would be appreciated. Just moved into a new house so i dont have a lot of extra cash right now, but can swing it if I have too. Oh yes, and another important piece of info may be that I just had brand new proxy fours put on about a month ago, and an alignment about 2 months ago.

Thanks!!!

Camber specs are always within a range. Some members will run more negative camber than others. “1/10 off” means little to me .1/10 off what?

The rep was saying that my rear right was .1 degree out of the spec range Ive only seen the pretty blue n red printouts they give you when your done showing the adjustments. .1 degree sounds tiny, but is it a lot in the world of tire alignments?

Thanks david!

Run the new tires as is. Inspect periodically. If you see one tire worn poorly, swap and align.

/\ Agree.

I highly doubt that .1 of a degree off factory spec would make any difference whatsoever.

I would NOT pay to have that fixed. With that being said, remember that TOE is the tire killer, not camber.
