285/30/19 on 19x10.5 +18 ?
Would 285/30/19 mounted on volk gts 19x10.5 +18 rub with a 1 in drop ? Or should I just go with 275/35/19 . I really don't want to roll or cut my fenders .

been mentioned hundreds of times but bears repeating
1. it depends on the exact tire. Tires are like shirts - a 275 from brand one and a 275 from another brand can be totally different sizes
2. when you start dealing with the wider, lower offsets, you're always best off planning to roll..and if you don't have to, you got lucky. Relative to the price of such high end wheels and tires, rolling the fenders is a drop in the bucket, and ensures you can run the stuff without worrying
3. FWIW, 18x9.5 +20, 275/40/18s that I once ran on my car - one set of tires (Toyo) never rubbed; the next set (S03's, same size) rubbed everywhere, over every bump. No amount of camber would fix it. Rolled it, and never had a problem again

I have 275/35x19 (fk452) on P45R (19x10) +20 with Eibach Pro (1" drop). Looks great, Clears most parking curbs and NO rubbing (perfect space of one index finger ~ 1/2"). Best of all NO ROLLING! (You could have a hard time selling a car with rolled fenders).

2 perfect examples of my point
every car is different, every tire is the different
as far as selling a car with rolled fenders, if its rolled correctly, there is zero downside, and zero short or long term effects

+1 and just roll the fenders. Also run the proper size tires , that would be the 285/35 or 275/35

Why are you so hesitant to cut/roll? Like z1 mentioned price of volks are way higher than price of rolled/cut fenders. I have 285/35 tires and need to roll/cut, but I'm also on coils and dropped more than an inch. Is it worth the extra $ to modify my fenders? I think so. The 285's look sick from the rear , and I want the max amount of tire on the road and don't love the stretched look. Bottom line: you'll probably have to cut/roll w/ 285s, but don't let that affect your tire choice.

You won't regret that setup btw. I'm on RE050A 275/35 and I used to rub just a tad before I rolled my rear fenders. I have 285/35 T1-Rs awaiting mounting, so i'll let you know how it goes.
