Need tires for high HP application.
My Forged Performance build is almost complete and Shariff told me the car is making 550+rwhp but wheel spin on the dyno has been a big issue due to the crappy Toyo Proxes 4 tires that are currently on the car now. Now I have some concerns on the drivablilty of the car and am wanting to switch to some tires that offer good traction for both straight line acceleration and excellent handling and lateral grip.
My current set up:
Falken 451's 245/40/19F and Toyos Proxes 4's 295/30/19R mounted on Volk GT-7 19x8.5F 19x10.5R

I have been thinking about changing the front size to 255/35/19 and staying with the 295/30/19 in the rear, due to the offset of the rear wheel coupled with having to use a 5mm spacer in the rear to clear my BBK, i don't think I can use a 305 in the rear.
So far the tires that I am considering are the Yokohama AD08's and the Bridgestone RE-11. I had also given some thought to the Toyo R 888 but the front size would be limited to a 235/35/19 or a 265/30/19 and i'm not sure that I would feel comfortable running either size up front.
Thanks in advance for your input. I'm not sure if I will need this but just in case.

You can run a 265/30/19 on an 8.5" wheel to match the 295/30/19 or 305/30/19 R888 depending on your wheel offset. I am quite impressed by the stickiness of FRESH R888 tires on my high hp toy. They are better than an older set of BFG DRs I had, and aren't as squishy when I turn the wheel.
BTW, looks like I could still burn your hands.

I looked at the NT-05 but the largest size that fit my rear rim was a 275, the next size up from that is a 335 which would not work at all but thanks anyway.
I guess I will go for the R888's (265F, 295R), may as well, i've gone this far already. Thanks for input and thanks for not flaming, yes I forgot to put on fire retardant gloves and that would have hurt!

I changed my mind, decided to get some the Advan AD08's for the street and will buy some 18" track wheels and R888's in the not so distant future. In the mean time, I got some tires to put on my 19" GT-7's.
These arrived yesterday evening....

The front tires (255/35/19's) should be here tomorrow and my car will be delivered to me next tuesday or wednesday.
