The Lug Nuts Started To Back Off, Found Out That it Was Due To Studs Being Stretched, Replaced Studs Last Saturday, Seemed To Solve The Problem, Drove The car For 5 Days Then They Backed Completely Off And The Wheel Came Off, Not All In 2 Days Bro This Happened Within A Week

I searched thus bumping an old thread. Does anyone have more info on the proper size aftermarket lug needed for aftermarket wheels?
I've heard 12x1.25 but wasn't sure about the other dynamics to properly seat them correctly against stock studs.

60º conical seats are the standard for OEM wheels as well as most aftermarket ones. Anything different would require matching lug nuts. The actual size of the lug nut (21 vs 19mm for example) is determined by the manufacturer based on the hole size in the hub part of the wheel. Small holes leave no clearance for a socket over a 21mm nut. Or you could use internal spline drive nuts in those cases.
PS - I wish PyroBoy would have come back with an explanation of why he kept losing nuts. I'm still betting on "wrong lug nuts".
