Default Hub Rings

I ordered a set of wheels/Tires/Lugs from a Dealer who does a lot of posting on this site. They shipped the product a day later then they said they would which is not an issue.

I decided to track the shipment today and noticed on the invoice, that the hub rings are backordered. When I placed the order, they told me EVERYTHING was in stock.

I have an appointment set up with my shop to Swap the TPMS valves, install a rear camber kit, the new wheels/rubber and do an alignment. Are the hub rings required or do I need to cancel my appt?

What would you do/say to the wheel dealer who misled me? Should I refuse shipment and tell my CC company to reverse the charge?

You can put them on later, its no big deal.

EDIT: No, just tell him you want the rings as promised...they are no big deal, just black plastic rings. The company that sent my wheels sent me the wrong sizes, but i didnt give a damn. I just went without any for alittle bit then ordered some really nice aluminum hub rings from Z1.

If I am going to have all that work done, I want to do it once WITH the rings. Not twice.

That's how I view it. I spent some good coin with them and frankly speaking they told me they would be shipped together. In fact they implied that I needed them.

Once you get them its a 10 minute install and won't change anything about the car. Quick and easy , can be done at home.

OK don't laugh I'm not a big buck guy. I got Rota Torque wheels. I'm sure the hub spacers are the plastic ones. If that is what you have and you are willing to do that for me, awesome! BTW the rings are 73 to 66.1.

No worries bro, you can have them You should keep the ones you're getting them they get to you and maybe another member will need them in time. I am not sure what size mine are but they were made to fit my Meister S1 and I just tested them on te37s and they fit too. They came from a Nissan dealer anyhow so it should be good unless Rota did something different they're on their way to you so I hope you get them before the appointment.

I ordered my plastic ones from Ebay for $8. They arrived 2 days later. Order today, have them Wednesday. Return the other ones on the vendor's dime.

You can install your wheels w/o them, like GeauxLadyZ mentioned it's not a big issue to install them later. Post some pictures when you get your wheels installed! Props to Alvin for giving you a free set
