are those 18's? looks pretty good. i thought for sure you would be rubbing in the rear. i'm +22 rear with a 285 tire and i had to roll my fenders.

Volk GTS +17/+18 will stick out a little. I ran mine with 255/35/19s F and 285/35/19s R. This is pretty much the standard application size for these wheels. Depending on the tire brand you go with you'll still get a little rub when bottoming out on dips. Rolling the fenders will solve your problem and allow you to drop.

They are 19", they look smaller than 19"s for some reason...maybe becauase of all the black. The tires are Hankook V12 Vetus K110's. I am deffinatley rolling if I drop. You are right too, they stick out a little...anyway to solve this while I drop it?

You may need to roll your rear fender edge with a 285 on it, the suspension travel in a bump would probably shave the corner of the tire off.

Looking good Zeez. When you lower it, the camber will put the tires back in the fenders so they won't stick out, they'll just be flush

Thanks farmer, my plan is to still roll the inside edge of the fender wells for this year before I lower. Im gonna use this winter to research coilovers and camber kits, I am most likely ordering the hotchkis sways too. I'll get some more pics (full body shots) later this week. This car just went throught a lot of changes in the past month so I am really excited to see the end result...full satin black paint job, 19" Volk GTS's, Amuse front and sides, satin red tails, new brakes too..all from basically stock! (not BBK though).

Sure it exists, just Brickyard with satin coat on top instead of clear. I for one think that would look utterly amazing.

Zeez, the car looks fantastic. How do you like the Hankooks? I'm debating those for my next set for my daily driven G. Let us know how they work for you if you don't mind.

The satin coat is clear coat...its just mixed with a flatening agent. If you wanted to do this to your brickyard just sand the whole car down with 600-800 grit and shoot it with this same clear I used.

Thanks! The hankooks are great but I cant really give you a review cuz the car just got done yesterday. So far, they are wayyyy better than any bridgestone wet or dry traction is awesome. In my opinion so far these are great summer/performance/daily drivers.

Roll your fenders.

They "look" flush because your are not dropped. If you drop it to the point where the top of the tire is either at the fender or tucked, with rolled fenders, it will not look that flush. (Which is why I will be adding 10mm spacers all around on my setup).

Yeah, I did roll the fenders, I was having some rubbage going on while taking hard corners.

Oh and I feel bad for all the guys who paid a body shop $250 to roll their fenders for them...it took me about 20 minutes, a jack, and a $15 wooden baseball bat. It didnt even chip the paint so no touch ups were required.
