Default 275 - 40 - 17 on all four wheels? 17 X 10?

I am looking at picking up this combo shortly
with some Nitto 555R in 275/40/17's all around. I am basically only using this wheel for autoX and the day or two before and after when I can't get them off and on in time. Would I have to worry about the 275's in front rubbing? I have heard of plenty of people talking about 275's in the rear not rubbing, but I am not sure about in the front with a +27 offset. Any help would be appreciated in helping me make my decision.

Thanks in advance!!

I just bought ZOASIS' wheels/tires... he's been running 17x9 Enkei RPOJ2 with 275/40 all around and reported no rubbing.

The Enkei offset is 35, so the 27 of the wheels you list will move the tires closer to the fender than the Enkei. Can't say if it will rub, but it might be close.

the wheel you have pictured is a 17x9 +27, and yes for track use the 275s are fine

40 will be a shorter diameter tire on a 17" rim. you might want to consider a 45 series unless you want the shorter size for gearing purposes.

and also, I think I want to try to use the Nitto's instead of the Kumho Victoracers like everyone else around me uses. I read a nice review in a Chevy magazine, and they picked the Nitto's over the Kumho's. Not based solely on handling, but also on tread wear and the ability to drive on the street as well.

Any other tire suggestions that I might like instead?
