After being strung along by a vendor (banned now) since May on a set of wheels, I've decided I will just get a set of Volks/Works...now to choose which.
It's between a set of Gold SF Winnings (19's 9.5/10.5 +19,+17) or a set of Gold Meisters (same size, similar offsets as the Volks). Here's a pic I found of them on two cars, hope the original owner doesn't mind me using their pic. BTW, my car is black.
FWIW, I like the one on the left much better than the 5 spoke on the right. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of polished lips but I like that one the best.
damn!!! i used to love the step down lip of the meisters but i got an awsome deal on some black sf winnings that ima go with.... ive been in this same delimma just think its funny... interested to see what ppl think..
I don't honestly think you can make a bad choice between the two.
Meister's for uniqueness and Winnings for a bit more aggressive/angry look...though tougher to keep clean.

IMO the opposite: Meisters for a more aggressive look, Winnings for a classier look.
3 years ago I would have said Winnings, but today I say Meisters. Either way, you win.
One thing I could see that would possibly bother me about the Meisters is the lack of a centercap. From far off they look awesome, but I dunno if it would look unfinished close up in person. Argh, I've never seen them up close to know. Any comments on this?

Yea, I thought about the word aggressive, not really the right choice to convey what I meant. I didn't mean in the wheel aggressive sense, but more like racing aggressive like mesh wheels you see on true track cars.
Honestly, people have done both, Meister's would be more rare and they look pretty damn awesome. I've seen some meister's up close on s2ks and have never even bothered to notice the lack of centercap. The other details of the wheel make it the last thing on your mind.
