Default Exclusive wheels, please list wheels for our car that not everyone has!

I know due to the staggered setup and the need to buy a Japanese style wheel kinda limits your wheel choices.

However, I'd like to see some wheels that would look good and not everyone and their grandmother has. I'm kinda sick of seein' Volk's an ADR M-Sports on every other Z in here. There's got to be a lot of other wheels out there you can get...

My contribution, Dronell II. If you've ever seen these in person, you understand. They're kinda hard to find, but they look good on Japanese as well as European cars.

They make some other nice wheels too:

MU

M05

Type 1

the MU look exactly like privat fahrens....the top ones look like the new AXIS wheels on the yellow Z...simple five spoke...the ones that axis makes are nicer than the ones you posted...the ones you showed are too "luxury car" type...our car is a sports car...thats why they have the wheels on an S-Type and not a Z...and just because everyone on the site has volks and m-sports doesnt mean you see them everywhere...i have yet to see aftermarket wheels on a Z in person (xept at the show)...the only ones i saw were the volk gt7's...they were nice..real nice...dont worry about getting wheels that everyone has..and dont dislike them becayse ppl have them

Guess who actually makes some of the other wheels you mentioned, and a lot of the Jap wheels people fancy? Why that'd be Dronell.

Havabooz has a good point. Its pretty rare that you see any Zs modified like the ones on this site. I live in Southern CA which is pretty much the Z capital of the nation and I rarely ever see any kind of modified Z.

Im gonna have to shoot down the Dronell IIs, they look like they should be on an Escalade.

You have to see them in person, and the point of the thread was to see wheels I and others might not know exist. Not to get taste advice from people who don't even paint their body parts.

I'm just under the impression that there has to be more choices out there.

I don't think too many people have:

Kinesis
Fikse
Compomotive

Buy yourself a set of one of the above and you will be in a fairly exclusive club.

I agree, I've been looking for something less expensive but somewhat light. I'm thinking 5zigen FN01R-C. http://www.5zigenusa.com/wheels.html

Sweet, the FN01R-Cs finally come in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. I had these on my Type R and I loved them.

first of all if you are reffering to my unpainted lip its because i didnt have time to before the show

if your reffering to the CF then i have no argumnt other than i ike it...plus...its made that way so it shouldnt be painted (yes i know ferrari paints theirs..i also knowthat i dont own a ferrari )

anyway..i didnt knock your question..you really wont find that many more "drasticallydifferent" options out there

put it this way...a 5 spoke is baicllly a five spoke

a mesh is a mesh

if you havnt seen it on the site yet...then it isnt nice

Yeah the website says coming soon for the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 FN01R-Cs. The 17" were only around $190, so I can't imagine they would be much more for 18".

there is no way those wheels are anywhere near as nice as the other options...anyone that lkes those does so because they are "different"

seriously, this site is a oddball. you can count the number of TE37s that come into this COUNTRY each month on one hand. yet it seems everyone here has them. but then you think... how many REALLY have them? I counted once, came up with about 25 or 30 I think. but then thought, there are 30,000 Zs out there... 25 or 30 have TE37s? less for other styles? and there are VERY few cars out there that are even worth putting te37s on, the supra is popular with them.

anyway, dont let this site lead you to false conclusions, any good rim is a good choice, dont worry if someone else here has them.

I know that they are not yet out. It even says on their site. But PIAA has some nice looking wheels.

Another wheel that not that many people have is the MAYA. The mesh ones look clean. And the color, looks sleek.

There is really no reason to diss other peoples choices for wheels. We all have different tastes and reasons for getting a certain wheel.
Also I like the mesh MAYA wheel, it's really clean, the only thing is the website doesn't list the widths.

I wonder how much those MAYA's are, I like the two in the wheel gallery here.

Yea the Tommy Pro R wheel is definitely my top pick for a non lip rim. Keeps the stock 6 spoke look, but with a more agressive cut and in 19" and Lightweight 1-piece forged.
