Question Volk Rims color question

I'm getting ready to order a set of Volk GT-C rims for my Liquid Aluminum Z. These come in both Mercury Silver and Silver. What's the difference? Is the Mercury Silver a little darker than Silver but not as dark as Gunmetal?

Which ones would look better on Liquid Aluminum?

Ok an example of Silver would be the same as the TE37 (Pictured below):

An example of Mercury Silver is also pictured below:

It's funny that Nissan decided to call the color Liquid Aluminum, because that's the exact same word I use to describe the Mercury Silver color. The Mercury color silver is much more brilliant than the regular silver and I would reccomend it over they regular silver all day. Let me know if you are interested in a set. And feel free to check out our website for more pics, we have the largest selection of Rays wheels on the entire internet.

Best regards,

Mike

I went ahead and ordered from Mike at Northeast AutoDesign. (above). He matched the lowest price I could find, which was about $2250 for rims, center caps, and lug nuts.

I received my rear rims yesterday, just like Mike promised. They are totally sick. The fronts are backordered so it will be a few months before I can mount them.

The Mercury Silver are gorgeous. Can't wait.

That's great to hear! I am glad you like them. Once you get them on your car, you'll have to send us pics so we can put them on our website. Feel free to call me whenever you would like to check up on the front wheels.

Best regards,

Mike

Mike,
Do you do wheel and tire packages or just wheels?

I have some pix here of two GT-C in different silver on our customers' car. Hope this can help you tell the difference.
