Default Tires for a tt setup?

Im looking to replace the tires i have on my z. I have 275s up front and 305s in the back (Nittos). My question is-- Does anyone have a tt setup with normal boost(8-8.5) where the tires do not spin in first or second? If so what tires? Thanks.

short of drag radials or heated up R compounds, normal street tires wont cut it.

Most people use the Toyo R888s which is a R compound tire.

A better EMS with traction based boost control is a more viable option, and probably much cheaper in the long run

I agree. I used to run 295 BFG DRs, but didn't like all the squat they had while doing even the lightest turns, so have now gone to 285, then 295, and 305 R888s for the rear (18"). If you need some lightly-used R888 tires in 18" sizes to try, let me know. I was surprised at how well the R888s held my power (>600rwhp and <550rwtq) from about 2nd gear on, where most other "street" tires would spin the tires even in 4th gear.
