Quick Tire Assistance
Nissan 350Z 2007 16k miles
First I'll start by saying I live in New England. I need new tires and will more than likely buy some within the next week. My tire is 4/32" right now which is damn near getting low. I don't race my car, I don't peel off in my car. I use it to and from work as my DD and love going between 55-70mph.
I was doing some price grabbing and shopping around. The local Nissan dealership offered 4 Bridgestone potenza re050a fronts 91w = speed rating rears 96w = speed rating, obviously with mounting, balancing and a wheel alignment for $1020.00
I'm looking for opinions and help with this in regards to what tire I should be looking for even though those sound great.
If you're going to ask if I'll be driving this car in the winter, my answer is yes, when there isn't any snow on the ground because I love it and sounds sex-a-licous in the winter.
Thanks for any insight.

They are ok, but there are better options out there for that price point, and tires that work just as well for cheaper.
www.tirerack.com
Take a look at what they have in the size you want.

I also wouldn't expect you to need new front tires at 16k, but the rears make sense.

I plugged the same tires into tirerack.com and it comes close to $1k shipped and that doesn't include alignment, balancing, mounting. I guess I'll go with the "STEALERship" this time, hehe.
