honestly, I don't know if switching one letter gets them off the hook, even if they did.

I am of course, not a copy right lawyer.

and I hate to bring it up, yet again, but if this offends you, Rota should offend you. It's literally only degrees of separation, there is no difference in what they are doing. Rota just had the smarts to scrub the lettering off.

I'm just sayin' and it's all I'm going to say.

These are weak, I can't even believe any of you are entertaining the notion of purchasing these. Knock off's FTL

the poster might not have included a picture of the wheels with his screen name or something, so the post would have been deleted.

It occurs to me that Volk engineered the TE37 to be as lightweight as possible, and that required forging to produce that design with those width of spokes.

If this is cast in the exact same dimensions (as it appears to be), I would not be putting my ride or my life in the hands of that.

The TE37 is not the lightest wheel ever made, not even by Volk. Volk does not set out to make the lightest wheels, but the strongest and most efficient.

Most of the Rotas I have ever seen fail, usually crack in the barrel area, although some have had fractured spokes, but they always claim it is from undue stress from road hazards.

whatever, this thread is not about Rota though, so let's not get this closed

Honestly, if they aren't selling them as Volks for the MSRP of Volks, why does it matter? Nobody that is actually going to buy a set of authentic Volks would even consider buying these. Volk isn't going to lose sales over stuff like this for that reason. If they claim affiliation with Volk, THEN it would be an issue for them to worry with.
