Raping women, killing people, are both forgiveable in this country now. Spinners on a Z, that might be another story based on what I am reading in this thread. We might not be able to find Ben Laden but there are somethings some Z owners might be able to control!

Boy, if you do happen to put those spinners on your Z, you might want to take a driving course first, it looks like some guys here might be after you.

PS: it was flat ugly when the guy posted pics of the Z with all those bright colors in his interior. We have not seen him since.

wow, i saw this thread when it came out, and people are still giving this guy hassles. wren57 is right, if you cant help this guy out with photos or a video like he requested, then dont post. no need to beat on this guy.

personally, i think spinner rims are dumb, ugly and a waste of money but like i said in a different post, that is why they make tons of different rims. different rims for different tastes. maybe someone would think the type of rim i like is dumb, ugly and a waste of money.

take care everybody

My post was a joke, I guess you did not get it!

If he wants, he can burn his Z for all I care, I have enough problems determining what mods are best for me without trying to figure which ones are best for him.

"Who said I wanted to fight? I just wanted to punch him. I didn't want to get punched back."

- LOL that's true...you never said you wanted to fight. haha

"For a guy who thinks politeness is essential, you are one rude dude. By the way, when you post about something as absolutely ridiculous as spinners, you will get opinions. It is not required that you ask for them. Why are you so sensitive and defensive, anyway? (After all, they're not for your car.)"

I think I was pretty cordial...if you think that's rude you're a softie. I guess I'm a sensitive kind of guy lol. Seriously, I'm not offended by others opinions. I'm new here and the furmus that I visit for my other interests are full of people who are positive and helpful. Thanks to those who provided links, etc.

It's funny to me that nobody is flaming the lambo door guys...that's bling-blingy as hell and provides no functional benefit.

Now, can anyone help me find a 350Z head visor? I want to wear it backwards and upside down when I drive my Z...oh yeah, and what color neon lights would look best on a black Z...and where can I get those cool clear tail lights?

BTW, I appreciate the advice that we should post only if we can provide exactly what the original poster requested, but I'll just go ahead and post whatever the hell I want to if it's okay with you. Sometimes I'm helpful and sometimes I'm just having fun. I'm not rude or abrasive, and nothing that I am inclined to post is likely to be outside the Rules, Policies & Guidelines, whatever they are. If you don't like what I post, go ahead and flame me. It don't scare me none. :)

Yeah, you already made that clear. We kinda started out on the wrong foot here, but I'm from Dayton too. Where did you get your Z from? Got any favorite safe streets to get on it?

WOW this thread is heated. I love it. Seems us Z guys are partial to what you can and can't have on a Z. I say if someone wants to look stupid put the spinners on the Z. It's a free country.

My last four cars (three Mazdas and the Z) have come from Castrucci in the Dayton Mall area. The first two just because of the price in spite of the dealer's bad reputation; the next two because I was so impressed by the new attitude and customer service at the dealership(s).

Favorite streets? As you know, Dayton has few twisties and even fewer hills, so a road course junkie like me isn't real happy around town. Overall, though, Ohio is spectacular. Have you driven SR 97 through the Mohican State Forest and the local roads around Pleasant Hill Lake near there? Plus, it's on the way to Mid-Ohio!

I was hoping it was from a different dealership. I too have used Castrucci in past, but never for a Nissan. When I went to look at the Z I had the absolute rudest saleslady I've ever met. She acted like I wasn't a serious buyer and couldn't afford the Z...I drove there in my Lincoln Navigator and shes acting like I can't afford a Z!?!? Best believe I still have her business card and I'll write a nice letter to Nissan and Castrucci about how another dealership took good care of me.

Hmm. Must have been Tammy, the GM. I don't think there are any other women working there. But Tammy was the reason I bought my Z there. She went out of her way to give me an all-day test-drive and then located the exact car I wanted and had it flat-bedded to Dayton the same day. Maybe you caught her on a bad day?

I will say I was impressed by Beau Townsend up north. They just couldn't find the car I wanted and I wasn't interested in ordering one and waiting 3 months for it. BTW, they have a Nismo store, too. Where did you end up getting your car?

Nope, it was Nicole DeWitt...this was a few months ago. I almost bought a different car from Beau Townsend too...same deal, they didn't have the exact car I was looking for so I went elsewhere...it's too bad because the salesman was a hell of a nice guy.

I'm ordering mine from Jeff Schmitt probably. I will be ordering it by the end of the month. Maybe I'll give Tammy a call...although I'd hate to reward that dealership after treating me so poorly. But it sounds like she really took good care of you.

Well, for one thing, I'm pretty sure Tammy will get the car you want for a fair price and you won't have to order it. Furthermore, I don't see where it was really the dealership that treated you poorly; it was a single ignorant salesperson--who apparently was released by the dealership in pretty short order.

One thing I have noticed about dealers lately--they turn a young, inexperienced person loose on browsers, and a "real" salesperson doesn't come on the scene until they establish that you are serious. Sounds like a bad idea to me, but they are doing it.

Could be I was lucky; the GM was the only person in the showroom the moment I walked in. Call Tammy directly or stop in and tell her Charlie, or "Larry" (private joke) referred you.
