Default TPS Left Rear quit sending

On my way home tonight it the left rear quit sending and displays --, all other wheels show the psi (33). I stopped to see if the tire was going flat or something but it's fine, it's still fine. I haven't hit any potholes or anything like that to jar the sensor. Any ideas?

So, #1 & #3 is a possibility and #2 I think is unlikely [2006]

Damn, I wonder how long the stealership will take and charge me for this.
