with that budget you should have a sick set up.... don't rush cause you'll regret later on. Do tons and tons of research and look up the different picture threads... you may consider saving for springs or coils if you don't have them. For some dropping the car makes a huge differences regarding how a set of wheels look in a car..

Don't put 20's on the z. Looks wayy to big.

For 3k, you could easily get a nice set (no rash, dents etc) with decent tires on them. Buying new over used doesn't really matter, cause if theyre not dented or rashed, its prettymuch like buying new but cheaper. Also, If you have the money, get authentic wheels. Gives you a better feeling having the real deal

Rotas are not authentic, they are Volk replicas

thank you all of you guys for the help!!! i decided to get the rotas P45R. i was reading a thread just about rotas p45r's, i saw my350z member "ctwentytwo" Z. and i decided to get those, and still have money to lower the car. here is a picture of "ctwentytwo" z.

just one question is wheeldude the only one that carries rota wheels? i been calling a few shops down here in south fl, but no body carrie them. if i can't find them locally, i'll buy the axis angles... i like them! if i keep putting to much head into this im going to go crazy, and probably not end up buying anything.

No offense OP, but i don't know why you're here looking for others to decide on ur behalf or even get influenced by their opinions.

if you were looking for mechanical/technical help, i would definitely understand and will try to help you out as much as i could. but if you're looking for some other ppl's taste is just outta the question.

drop this thread a side.. put those wheels pictures on ur desktop.. compare and decide. and if you're not certain you've seen all the wheels that fits the Z, then checkout the Vendor Classified > Wheels/Tires section..

take your time.. but never base ur opinion/taste on others.

good luck.

anything that suits ur taste..

tbh, look for Media Share section, there are tons of different wheels with different offsets. you might end up loving something else than what you've already decided on. believe me, it takes a while to get to know what wheels fit nicely on a Z..and our community here helped alot (since everyone got a different taste) by putting a huge album of pics previewing those wheels..

the wheels will be your appearance/stance on the road, you want something that only represent your taste..

$3000 is a big amount of money.. you'd want to spend it well. so, take your time... don't rush it.

there are alot of concave (no lip) wheels..

have you looked into "Five Axis" wheels? ADV1 wheels?

they might be the wheels you're looking for, but probably you'll have to wait till u save a little more to get them.

let me try help you out.

what are you looking for in a wheel?
color:
spokes:
size:

of course i'll assume no lip at all..

we have the same exact car!!!

yes no lip... im looking for size 19 or 20 staggered!! the color docent really matter to me! no white, bronze, chrome, or all black.... spokes? the same, as long as the overall wheel look's good docent matter!

the ADV1 wheels are pretty nice and have a very deep concave look!! i like that, but that is way out of my budget! i'm staring college, im still paying the car, it would be ridiculous for me to spend more than 3k, on wheels even tho im keeping the car for a long time! i think i can invest that money more wisely like in my education for my future!!

as some o the members posted before, i can get a nice set of used volks, but im not going to be happy mounting used wheels in my car!

so the only two concave style wheels i know, and i like, that adjust my budget are the axis angle and the rotas p45r.
