Default 06 Stock Rim problems

My 06 rims have gotten these marks on them that look like cracks and its on all four rims. The cracks are all over them. I think it may be the clear coat but im not sure if thats the case. One of them the paint seems to be cracking. Any one run into this problem before? any suggestions on how to get rid of them? thanks in advance

Wow.. that is very odd. The first thing I thought of was if you had a thorn bush/rose bush by your driveway or something - rubbing the wheels..

But, the third pic looks as you described - 'cracking of the clear coat'.

Sorry I don't have an explanation or suggestion - maybe stop by a local body shop for them to look at and give you an opinion (probably in the form of a price quote ).

I've had no issue with mine so far "knock on wood" that really sucks though, I would bring it to the shop and see how much they would charge you...it might be worth it just to buy some new wheels.

That is a interesting pattern.

Looks like flex cracks. You experience flex crack in flexible components such as bumpers. Bumper flexes - paint does not - paint cracks. Assume this is superficial. Still have a wheel pro take a look.
