Default need help from the tire gods

there are just so many tire threads saying so many different things i dont know what to do! i need tires for stock 17" rims rear only. i dont drive in the winter at all. i dont want to spend a ton of money, but all the summer tires seem to be very expensive or get horrible ratings. im looking for something that say for instance on tirerack would cost me about 150ish-200 per tire. dont know what that correlates to in a shop. i dont care if there loud, i want decent tread life and to handle pretty good on wet or dry. is this possible?
