Veilside Widebody Kit - Wheel Recommendations
Well I defiantly am buying the car, thanks for the input so far..
I know volk and work wheels are the most popular wheels for a Z... but it seems like everyone is so biased! I know that there are other wheels out there that are cheaper, and will look good on this car...
(for example, AXIS super penta.. they are really cheap, but not that good looking IMO... but something similar to what im looking for)
Im looking for mid-range quality wheels.. really, and Ive heard decent things about TSW being a good mid range wheel, although I know theyre not forged or really racing wheels at all... but I think these would look good (the ones with the black lip)
they are 20x10 rear, and can get 20mm offset... (and are only 30 lbs each)

what exactly could be wrong with these??
or whats wrong with the varrstoen im really thinking I should get those??

You sound as if your mind is already pretty much made up. Personally I wouldnt get either of the wheels you are looking at. IMO "racing" wheels dont really go with that body kit, its more of a show kit and I think you'd want to run something with huge lips on it but still tasteful.
All I can say is dont rush into buying wheels or it may come out looking bad. Take your time before you commit to buying. Wheels can easily make or break a cars looks. Look at some used wheels too, you'd be suprised what you can sometimes stumble upon. It took me almost six months before I found a set of wheels I liked and they were used but in good condition.

Here you go, its exactly what you need https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...uper-rare.html
These would work great with some small spacers https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...e-borphes.html

Axis Mod 7 or Matrix have a black with polished lip wheel for the Z, but they are probably not made for wide body, so you'll need spacers. The wheels that are made for this kit is the Veilside Andrew Baccarat, but they are probably a lot more than $2500.
Dont buy that car that kit is sooo dated. Half the car is literally body kit. Even 11 inch wheels probably wont be flush plus did you consider how much extra its gonna cost to buy rubber every so often. plus the repaint cost for that massive kit
look on ebay... there are a set of work equips that'll set you off proper

I know they are 17s, but they will look NASTY
17x13 and 17x14?

The OP is too stubborn, he's not listening to reason or experience.

Congrats. You are buying the most played out nastiest kit and you dont even want to hear our reasons to buy the correct wheels. You will just be another Veilside kit owner with rims that will look terrible on an already terrible looking kit.
You obviously have no clue what you are talking about by asking if these (http://www.dnjwheels.com/performance...144&parent=271) will fit. As said before you are looking at around 40mm off of what you need offset wise and more than a couple inches of width. Buy a car that you dont have to destroy the looks of even more than it already is please. That poor Z looks like it has been through enough as it is. Just because you saw it in the F&F Tokyo doesnt mean you should buy it.

^^very true, owning a car with this type of bodykit does not make you a part of F&F Tokyo Drift. Hahaha...you should probably learn what an offset is first before purchasing wheels anyway.

We have told him yet he still doesnt seem to get it. There is no sense in telling people stuff if they dont want to hear what you have to say.
this is true, i was just giving him some real numbers to realize the stupidity of it all
stock z is already widebody, you can fit 11 up front and 12s in the rear with a stretch, theres no point really to go bigger than that with a ugly kit

I would try to find a used set of fat lipped wheels. A lot of people are into the "these wheels are WAY too big for my car, but I'm going to put them on anyway" trend, so more and more sets of giant wheels keep popping up.
Keep an eye on the classifieds and ebay, I'd say.

The fact is, you won't find new wheels for $2500 that will look decent. The wheels you mentioned could look decent on a stockbody Z, but with those wide fenders, you need something SUPER WIDE and a VERY low offset. "Midrange" wheel companies don't make those. They churn out their best sellers for low prices, they do not and will not make you a custom wheel for that price.
Now if you find a deal on some used wheels, you might make that work... The ones in the ebay auction above are a potential candidate.
Edit: check with DPE, as I recall their custom wheel prices are reasonable.
