Default Tire setup on 18x10.5 all around

So I need some suggestions for tire setup on my rpf1's that are 18x10.5 +15 all around. From searching it seems that most are running a 265/35/18 all around. I am only lowered on eibach prokits so i want some tires that will close up the gap if possible. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I have Advan rims that are 18x10 +19 offset. I run 265/40/18 up front and it doesn't touch the fender, but if I hit a dip and it fully compresses, it does touch the wheel well liner by 1 or 2mm. The rear tires I am running 285/40/18 and had to cut the fender lip(I actually completely cut the inside lip off versus rolling). With that done, I I have about 10mm of fender clearance on full tucked compression.

I ride on Hotckis springs, (15mm front, 19mm rear drop), Rear camber set at 1.0 degree negative, 0.08 degree positive toe.

With your 15mm offset, you can clear 255/40/18 front, and 275/40/18 rear no problem. Though I suggest rolling your rear finder inside because that lip intrudes about 3/4".

I dont get why people stagger their tires on a square set up.

+1 It looks weird with one tire fat and one with a slight stretch.

Because it comes from the factory with a "square" setup and staggered tires.

But I'm just saying. Who really know....oh....VDC anyone?

True, it does look strange with the rears having a more "fuller" appearance. The reason why I didn't square it was because I kept my original tires upon switching rims. My rear tires are basically bald right now so I will go back to squaring out the tires and running hubcentric spacers in the back to fill it out better.

Thinking about going 275/35/18 or 265/35/18 front and 275/40/18 rear. Does this seem okay?

If you are going to run that close of a tire size just make it the same on all 4 so then you can rotate them. you will notice almost no difference in running a 265 in the front and a 275 rear. on an 18x10.5 i would run an 275/40

275/35 front and 275/40 rear will be a sweet setup. Thats basically what i'm running right now.

it would be nice to have a square tire setup but I want something a little bigger in the rear so that it can close the gap a little better

Will I rub upfront with a 275/35 with only a 1 inch drop?

Sorry to bring this back up but how does 265/40/18 all around sound? Will it rub?
