Default Rolling fenders required??????

Hey gang,
I am getting ready to acquire a set of staggered Volk wheels 20x9.5 +24 offset and 20x10.5 +30 offset. If I am running 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 and the car is lowered one inch, will I have to roll the fenders? I have to buy new tires and I would like to get 285's in the rear but could do 275's if that would make a difference in regards to not having to get the fenders rolled.

Thanks,
JR

I think someone should make a DIY with pics of before/after guide for this.

I agree. The problem is I am trading my wheels and I don't want to mount them and immediately have the rubbing issues that could possibly damage a new set of tires. Hopefully someone will respond with some advice.

I would think you'd be fine. I ran a 19X10.5 +32 with a 285/35 lowered about 0.5" and had gobbs of clearance. Now running 275/35 on the same wheel and lowered about 1" and just barely rubbed one of the tires, once, but clearance is still pretty good. I rolled my fenders tonight to prepare for wider tires and spacers.

Why not just mount them, if you do rub, adjust the camber until you roll the fenders.

u will be fine with those specs. no rolling required. once you get into the 0 to 10 offsets, then worry about rolling, depending on your drop.

Thanks for the input guys. I will mount them first and see if there are any issues then get the new tires. Thanks again and will post pics after I get the wheels on Saturday.
