3 years later, heat from powdercoating orange, monthly autoX's, couple track days a year, all sorts of street driving.. still strong.

So when the 18" & 19" 531s come out, i'll be getting on of these two... can't decide though. Which do yall think would look better?
Choice #1:
Gold XXR 531
18x9.5 +20
18x11 +20
ORRRRRR
Chromium Black XXR 531
19x10 +15
19x11 +15
and my car as it sits now:

I like the gold better too but I would love to have 19s and the widths offsets are perfect.. Wish they'd make the gold in 19"

I'm thinking of going back to 19's myself. But I'm not a fan of those.

Found some XXR 522 18x9.5 all around online. When I was reading about tire sizes on 100 questions it said to do 275/40/18 which is basically the same as 245/45/18's. The latter is what I'm running in the rears on my stock tires right now. The ad also said they would throw in 4 tires (Federal SS595 235/40/18) for only $430 more. My question is, should I just go that route and sale my stock rims and tires or just buy 2 more tires (275/40/18 or 245/45/18) that go with it? I don't want it to look stretched or anything I just want it to look normal. Thanks.

245/45/18 isn't the same as 275/40/18.. I think you misunderstood. I think what it was trying to say is they are probably about the same height.

They are almost identical.

right.. height wise. but the 275 is still 30mm wider than a 245, correct?

true but overall, nearly identical. I'm just asking what I should do here not trying to argue with anyone.

if you're asking if you should run 275/40 vs a 245/45.. i would do 275/40.

I have spacers, I need to shorten my lug studs before they can go on.
