Rims and Tires Question
Hi everyone, please don't flame me if there's already a thread about this question I'm about to ask. I tried looking and didn't see anything. So I thought I ask you guys.
I have rims with the following spec.
Front: 18x8.5 +20 offset
Rear: 18x9.5 +20 offset
I want to get front tires 245/40/18 and rear 275/35/18. I was wondering with my offset and tires, would the rims flush ok with my Z. Sorry, I'm not really knowledgeable in rims and tires. So I thought I ask the expert before buying the tires.
Thanks.

2 set of fronts? Are you talking about the offset? The front is 18x8.5 and the rear 18x9.5 so it's staggered. I was just wondering how the stance would look if I went with 245/40/18 for front and 275/35/18 for rear. I'm not really a fan of spacer, so I'm hoping it flushes ok with these configuration. Also my car has like a 1 1/2 inch drop.

Any particular reason you are going with a 35 profile on the rear? I'm guessing that you are figuring-in the 1.5" drop.
This setup makes your 35 profile rear tires shorter (less overall diameter) than your fronts with a 40 profile.

Will it be flush, depends on what you consider flush. My opinion, not even close. I don't do the major stretch and poke thing, but I do have slightly stretched tires. I run 18x10.5 +10 in the rear and 18x9.5 +15 front FYI with the standard 245/40 275/40 combo.
Ok, how about this set up. Will there be any problem with this.
Front: 18X8.5 with 255/35/18 +20 offset
Rear: 18X9.5 with 275/35/18 +20 offset
Was wondering if I will have to worry about my front or rear rubbing.
Base on the calculator this set up should be no problem with VDC, but can someone confirm that.
I'm sorry like I said I don't really know anything about rims or tires information for the Z and some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
