Haven't heard of anyone here using Kumho Solus tires. For one, it has an ugly tread pattern design. And Kumho tires aren't that good in general. S. Drive is probably better option of the two.

Also, a few people here are running on Hankook Ventus V12 tires and have good reviews on them. Good luck.

The S drive is a great tire. They are quiet, smooth, and very comfortable. Are you going to track the car? If so, the people on this forum will tell you go with other choices.

Kumho Solus KH25 is a all-season tire.
Yokohama S.drive is a summer tire.
The two are not comparable.

Kumhos weren't too bad, in my opinion. The SPT's I had were pretty decent.

I am only familiar with their MX and XS tires. They are both "extreme" tires that most drivers wouldn't bother with because they are all about (dry) traction, with almost no regard for tread life.

These two examples of Kumho don't suck.

The MX's were good once they heated up, but they were soft in the sidewalls.

The XS's get up to temp a bit quicker, and have awesome lateral grip, but they are a handful in the wet.

Cold and wet?.... Just park the car.
