New tires? Need moar stretch!
#61
Well, I don't know. He put a 215 on, which seems pretty rediculous already. The grammar expert might as well put a 165 for a "moar" stretched look. I thought thats what his goal was. I'm not really sure why you think I'm trying to be funny. So I guess 165 is considered stupid and 215 is not? I figure they both look equally stupid and dangerous. Where do you guys draw the line? I'm not really sure.

do they even make 165 19s? You tell me if its physically possible to fit 165 on there and maybe i'll consider your post seriously. have you heard of anyone losing their lives with stretched tires? If you think it looks stupid or unsafe cool, but dont be a smart *** and say your being serious when your clearly trying to be funny.

Do you honestly think it's possible to stretch a 165 onto a 9.5 in. wide wheel? There's absolutely NO way possible. It was hard enough to get this 215 on my 9.5. I will PayPal you $50 if you can do it. Seriously. How is running a 165 even close to my 215??

It doesn't take a grammar expert to spell ridiculous correctly You should install Mozilla Firefox, it underlines all grammatical errors for you.

There is no way you could paypal me enough money to even put a 215 on a 9.5" wide rim and drive on it because I'm not a retard.
Annnnnd, I think my point with the 165's went over your head too. Lean like a cholo?

People only resort to correcting spelling and grammatical errors on the internet because that's the only thing they can desperately come up with to try to offend someone. It's only because they aren't smart or witty enough to post something of worth. Acting like a spell check and that you've never mispelled a word is lame. Afterall, you seem to know that firefox underlines mispelled words don't you. Try to make an effort to get a life mmkay pumpkin?

Whenever there is a thread about people wanting to stretch tires, people will have to get their 2 cents in (its unsafe, stupid, not practical, less rubber than stock). I've heard it all. In your case it might be worse because you already had "proper" sized tires and then decided you wanted to get rid of them and go for a more stretched look.
That will be looked down upon most members on this forum. But its your car. Now just watch out for potholes and check your tire pressure regularly, and go on doing what you want to do with the car. It's your money and decision in the end.
IMO it looks good but, with the rims that I just spend a lot of money for, I would feel somewhat stupid for stretching the tires and making it more prone to bend a lip, because I couldn't just get a spare rim of the rims I'm getting because they won't be made anymore.
