Default New tires? Need moar stretch!

Well I'm debating whether or not to change my current tire setup.

Wheels: Varrstoen: 19x9.5 (FR) 19x10.5 (R) +12 all around
Tires: 245/35 (FR) and 275/35 (R)

Although this setup has a SLIGHT stretch...I think I want more. I was thinking about ordering 235/35 and 255/35 Falken FK452.

My question is how much wider will my CURRENT setup look (275/35) compared to the 255/35?

This is how it sits now:

Really an hour later? Why not focus on performance as opposed to something that gets you nowhere?

whoa whoa whoa....

Is that really necessary? I could have been focusing COMPLETELY on my Stance, instead of spending $750 on my exhaust, $175 on my y-pipe, $110 on my Pop Charger. Well I respect the fact that you are more focused on performance...but I don't respect you stating "as opposed to something that gets you nowhere". Trust me, I would absolutely LOVE being stanced AND boosted...but I'm not dumping loads and loads of money on performance parts when: 1. My Z has 94k miles and 2. I work 45+hrs a week, I RARELY would have time to go to the track. The only tracks located within an hour of me are dragstrips....and i'm not into drag racing. That $hit is boring to me after an hour or so. So please refrain from posting bull$hit and negative posts in my thread...

Once I get my stance and exterior exactly how I want it, I am planning on buying more 'performance' parts. So please stop assuming that I am just dumping all of my money into the aesthetics of my car only....I have a LOT of stuff planned for my Z.

i'm no wheel guru but
came across a couple Zs that have 19x9.5 w 225/35 (f) and 19x10.5 245/35 (r) and IMO it looks good.
you could put your current fronts on the rears and get two 225s replacements for the fronts.

is this a fashion statement?

I was under the impression we change wheel and tires for looks and performance. I must not be up on all the hip new trends. More traction is better right? Or is this not true anymore.

If your going to stretch the tires your going to need spacers, you won't loo as you do with the thick tires. From what I've gathered in the aggressive thread, 225/35 and 255/35 would be a good moderate stretch. Just check your air pressure regularly.

Try 225/40 and 245/40 rear , and of course 20mm spacers.

Same here. Only tires I would consider going with on those wheels are wider. Not skinnier.

As much as it pains me to agree with Nexx.....I also feel the same way.

245/275 is the skinniest tire I would run on this setup. Hell I was planning on +0 with 245/275, I might do +12 and 255/285. 215 on a 9.5" wheel? Come on guys.

245/40 on my 9" for my WRX was stretched.
