Unless the spacers are installed incorrectly they have been shown to be completely safe and several members have tracked their Z's on them. I've been running them for 2 years without issue.

I still think it's related to his alignment.

Personally, i think its the way his car is sitting plus no alignment. It looks like the rear is lower than the front, in which case he is throwing the weight balance of the car to chit. I dont know the effects of this, but i would imagine a squirrely response would be fitting given that our car is meant to be the exact opposite.

We learn from our own mistakes. Just my $$.02

OP: i got some questions for you boy cause i had the same spacers before and suspension!.only difference i had the sway bars too. Before you where lowered and had spacers on, where you running stretch tires or fat tires before the shaking around started to happen? The only reason why i ask this is because a couple months back i was running same setup as you but with the rear bushings on the springs and same spacers as yours and i had no problems whatsoever. The day i put my WEDS on with stretched tires i would not dare to go over 90mph because it was so shaky in the rear that i just told myself i needed coils asap. Once i got my coils same week i put the WEDS on, i never regret i did. first time in the hight way i was mad rubbing tires but i hit 160mph and i felt like i was doing 30mph with no fear of my z sliding/shaking on me. Remember also that your rear is way lowered than your front and thats why before i mentioned to you, the z looked like a mountain bike. My point is, that is really not your spacers as long as they are torqued correctly, or your alignment unless yours is really bad.
I was running stock tires with them before. I've figured my problem out, bad alignment and the car sits a little bit lower in the back then the front. That makes the handling a bit different. I just need to save up for some coils and that should be it. I've tracked the car before on the old setup no problem. Hopefully I get this taken care of in the next couple days. Thanks for your help.

It's all about how you manage your money, i'm a college student as well. You would be surprised how many great deals pass through the marketplace daily.

Some Z owners could have brand new Rota's and springs where as a well informed forum member could have a set of slightly used decent offset forged rims and coilovers for almost the same price.

Home skillets a new one though.

I paid $1400 dollars for rims and tires, with some decent coilovers and sway bars I'll be under 3k. The average price for a set of volks with tires. Rota's are garbage, MB is CST in Japan its an acutal wheel company.

Why do people modify the spring mounts?

This may be the cause you being lower in the rear if you're using the same springs all around.

Just had alignment done, didn't fix issue. It seems to be stemming from my caster being too high in the rear, stretched tires, and bushings starting to go out in the rear.

That's an expensive Lifestyle.

And for the others making comments. I have 25mm spacers and recently went 140mph with no problem.

I've hit 150mph with the spacers and had no problems before. It's the stretched tires. I'm sure with coilovers it'll handle better once I lower the front more. It just scares me to correct at high speeds now. That's ok though, how often do you hit those speeds anyways.

....Wat?

You sir, are incorrect. NO springs make the car sit lower in the rear buddy.

Most cars I've lowered have been lower in the front than the back with springs.

Now keep in mind, we are talking about literally the rear end is lower than the front. Not like GF210 where rear is 1.2" and front 1" because even with the .2" more, the rear is still much higher than the front....you know this.

And with standard sizing in tires, staggered height. No 275/30's in the rear or anything.

Dude your an idiot your barely stretched tires are not causing the issue so stop blaming them, and coilovers isn't going to fix it either. You have other issues there you need to figure out. What is this your first rodeo????
