Question Choosing Offsets?

So I was thinking about getting some Volk TE37s rep. 19x9.5(F)/10.5(R).
Or the Volk RE30 same.
but I can't decide on offset.
What role does the offset really have when it comes down to choosing a +0, +12, +22 offset?
since those are the only offsets available for the wheels.

Please post pics of your offsets, tire sizing, camber, and spacer specifications. and label them please.

your participation is appreciated. Thanks

+22 is a little sunk in... +12 is pretty close to the fender... 0 will most likely be flush or a tad bit poke(just a tad)...

Please search before you start threads like this... You will get flamed!... GL

The higher the number, the better they look. Try to find some +45. My rears are +50

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I need some additional help, I have read alot of posts, seen the offset calculator and still don't understand some things. My plan when I come back from deployment is to drop it 1", and have the Advan RGII or the Advan RG-D if they make it here by the time I come back. I was planning on the 18x9 front and 18x10 rear for the RGII, or the 19x9 front and 19x10 rear for the RG-D's. My question comes down to this though, what would be the correct offset to have a wheel that is or is very close to flush with the edge, and I don't really have access to a fender roller so I would like to be able to make it flush without having to roll the fender. Is this even possible?

Much thanks in advance
