Was wondering if anyone has seen any wheels or even the stock wheels done in Black Chrome on a San Marino Blue Z?

Not sure if it would be to dark?

 

seen black wheels on SMB can't get much darker than that.

It's so hard to find a good combo with SMB, I still have stock rims right now and they seem to match perfectly...but I just haven't seen any combo with SMB that makes me jump out of my seat

 

Please don't paint the stock wheels black chrome it's going to look retarded.

I'm sure aftermarket wheels will look good on a SMB since that is an easy color to match.

I was just asking so I could get a visual of what it would look like. Its a color that doesn't get seen moded very much. I think I might go with stock color in 19's but a different style. But I also wanted to see what the Black Chrome would look like. Guess I will keep looking for now

I have an SMB and surprisingly I had a hard time being satisfied with a color theme.

I'll give your a few references to choose from:

Black XD-9s


Silver AMEs


Blue Volks


I am pretty satisfied with the blue Volks. The black XD-9s didn't have enough contrast to the the car. The AMEs did look good also but I am not a fan of silver wheels. I got a lot of good feedback on the AMEs though. I really thought of getting black chrome also and I think it wouldn't look bad at all.

Blue CE28N's look amazing. Very Clean Rodizzle.

OP, you should consider blue or silver rims like the ones above. They loook sick

 

Gold wouldn't look bad either on an SMB.

 

I think a super black chrome type color would look great, like a slightly darker version of rodizzle's AME's above

 

Im also having a hard time matching SMB lol. Im trying to get work emotion cr kais, but I'm having a hard time choosing between bronze and gunmetal.. i know bronze works well but it seems played out i think? and I think gunmetal will work but im not too sure.

 

I would like to see gun metal on SMB. .

Formula Silver. I had a hard time deciding as well. I like these. In some light it looks darker like gunmetal then sometimes more silver.
